ABOUT FÁLKI
Hi there! Welcome to my nest. I’m Fálki.
I am a deep-diving, edge-walking, shadow seeker, a trickster, and a story-teller. I am a sacred witness, a deep listener, and an embodied, breathing human healer.
I am a Creative Intuition Coach, Soul Guide and Healer, Yoga Teacher and Artist. I have reclaimed the title Völva in tribute to my ancestors and the Wise Women of the far north, and I strive to live up to their memories.
I am inspired by my inner pathwork with my ancestors and guides and by stories of ancient and modern Wise People and Medicine Folk around the world. All of my work is informed by contemporary practices in core shamanism, ecstasy, breathwork, somatic healing, mindfulness, and ritual.
The myths and stories of the old Norse and Icelandic people fuel my Soul and aligning with the Earth’s seasons and moods grounds me in the world. The Breath moves my body and spirit.
I am:
An animist who hugs trees, kisses boulders, and speaks with crows,
A dancer who loves to roll around on the floor and spin in plastic circles,
A theatrical improviser and member of the duo Ramen on Sunday,
An animal lover with two feline companions named Ivar Needletooth and LouCat,
An always learning yogi and yoga teacher,
An aspiring commix creator and graphic novelist,
A coffee-lover,
An adult orphan,
An alcohol-free life-liver,
An energy worker and Reiki practitioner,
An introvert, Aquarius Sun and Moon, Pisces Rising, and an Enneagram 4 wing 5,
A mindfulness practitioner and teacher, and
A post-menopausal woman leaning into life as a Crone.
Here’s a bit more practical information: I have a PhD in Human Services/Counseling Studies and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, and am certified as a Professional Life Coach under my given name, Tara Moorman.
