RIDING THE WINDS

Riding The Winds: Exploring the Prana Vayus Through Movement, Mudra, and Imagination

You may have heard of Prana - the dynamic life force energy that moves in and around us.  It is the breath, and it is more than the breath. Vayu means wind, so the 5 Prana Vayus are the winds of Prana.

Each wind has a purpose, regulating our Bodies in a particular way.  When they flow freely, the 5 Prana Vayus work harmoniously, improving our physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll talk about each of the 5 Prana Vayus. we’ll learn their names, how they move, what systems they regulate, and what to expect when they flow freely versus when they are weak or blocked.

After our discussion, we’ll connect with each Vayu through simple, accessible yoga postures and movement, mudras (hand gestures), and imagination.

I am offering this workshop as my gift to you, however, if you feel called to do so, please “pay” for the class by making a donation (suggested $5 to $20) to a charity of your choice.
