What is Yin?

Yin Yoga is the perfect vehicle for mindfulness practice and body awareness. The postures are not complex, props are encouraged, and the practice is very slow. Join me as we step into greater awareness and appreciation of our Selves through the gateway of our Bodies. We’ll use simple, accessible postures, breath, and guided meditation techniques to relax, connect, and embrace our own deep knowing.

For the practice of Yin, you will need to be able to access the floor safely. Beyond that, you might like a yoga mat and a few props to help you settle in and down with the postures. You can do Yin with things you have around the house: 1 or 2 pillows or a couch cushion, any blanket, and a large, hard-back book will work just fine.

If you’ve been wanting to try yin yoga, or if you want to continue your practice, join Fálki for these online drop-in yin yoga classes. Each will be a little different from the others, so come to all for a more rounded taste of yin.

No previous yoga or yin experience is necessary.

Classes are 90 minutes long.

Cost is $30 per class.
